Spanish Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS-Spain)

The Spanish Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS-Spain) is the national committee of APECS in Spain. APECS-Spain was founded to link the students, researchers and educators interested in polar regions and that develop their activity in the Spanish territory. We pretend therefore, to stimulate the interdisciplinary scientific collaboration and scientific dissemination to promote the future leaders in polar research and polar education in Spain
The main aims of APECS-Spain are to:

  • Disseminate the polar research of early career scientists
  • Facilitate networking to develop new scientific collaborations among members
  • Provide tools and training to gain and improve communication skills, teamwork, organization of events, to promote development of future leaders in polar investigation and outreach in Spain.

From the association, we encourage all of polar early career researchers to contact with us. If you are interested in APECS, you can become a member at the website: https://apecsspain.wordpress.com/
